I got back from the DC rally today, and I’ll just write bluntly, tonight…

BOSTON-DAY 6
I awake with a start at 7:30 AM, when one of my roomies begins banging the door with a ferocity that would raise the dead. Good job- I had asked him to do precisely that. I’m groggy from the few hours of sleep I got, but manage to haul myself down to the bathroom, douse my head in cold water, change clothes, and down another quickie breakfast of fruit-yogurt thingies. Today was a day on which I felt it necessary to catch up on lost sleep. I wasn’t scheduled to do any shoots for the campaign, until around one PM, so after staying up until around 5 the previous night, I took the liberty of sleeping until noon. Read the rest of this entry »

BOSTON-DAY 4
I awake, take the first decent shower I’ve had in days, order some more chinese food, and am ready for a BIG day of shooting.
However, much to my chagrin, I find out that in my fatigue, I forgot to hook up my battery, meaning that I only had 30 minutes of machine life, and hence, could only shoot 30 minutes of video- DAMN!
I arrive at the free speech zone, to discover that it’s still pretty much the same horrific sewer/public works project it was the day before. Read the rest of this entry »

BOSTON-DAY 3
I awoke with the sickness and the hunger. Both were alleviated with orange juice and a fruit smoothie (I’m having to live out of a supermarket, for the most part.) I had been up until 5:30 in the morning, the previous night, and was due to do some video shoot at an ACLU event at a cathedral in the heart of Boston at 11:00. Read the rest of this entry »

BOSTON-DAY 2
The big event today was the International ANSWER march on the DNC. Before I get into the details, I must say- my respect for Answer went down a few notches, today.
